General Description :

Vaccum bag Sealant tape used for forming a Vacuum tight seal between a vacuum bag and a release treated mould surface. Manufacturing FRP structures with VARTM technology (Vacuum assisted Resin Transfer moulding). The Sealant tape must be resilient and have adherence sufficient enough, to adhere to a release treated mould surface as well as technical films and general types of vacuum films.

However the tack must not be stronger, than it is possible to strip away the vacuum film for a repositioning during lay up.

The sealant tape must strip cleanly from the mould ssurface after the cure cycle has finished.
